My little sister turned fifteen this week. Her party of choice?
A tea party!
For her and her sisters.
Who all happen to be over twenty years in age.
Yes, thank you!
We found this darling blue tea set at the local thrift store along with the tablecloth (a vintage sheet).
Place cards were made for each lady coming and invitations were sent.
(It's herbal- We like the orange and cinnamon flavor around here :) )
That sugar made it into too many cups too many times. Oh the sugar :)
And of course treats were served.
Us ladies upon arrival.
My little sister put us all in our place. From the very moment she opened the gate she was in character. It's hard not to take a fifteen year old seriously when she shows you what's what. (She's the one in yellow.)
So tea was poured.
Stories were told.
Hair was pinned back up after our individual, ridiculous impersonations of yaks and sheep.
And we all had a grand old time :)
Until next year!
