Mrs. brown bird

I thought this lovely lady was just stunning.

Her conspicuous husband was sleeping on the other side of the cage and there was a small crowd around him.  He was quite visible with his amazing bush of green and turquoise feathers.

But this girl, she was quiet.

She was pecking at the ground.

Just a small necklace of sea-green to relate to you the connection between her and the more familiar gender of her species.

Somehow, in a weird way I hope I'm like this.  Kind of a calm color, but amazingly beautiful.

We're talking figuratively here.
